Eric Chen
Eric is a director of the New England branch and a rising junior at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. He first grew interested in programming through LEGO robotics, but has since branched out into many different languages and fields. He is especially interested in cryptography and cybersecurity, as well as competitions like the USACO. Outside of coding, Eric loves astronomy and math.
Anika AkaliAnika is the founder of the New England branch of Coding4Kids. She is a student at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, and is extremely passionate about teaching others. When she's not coding, her free time is spent tutoring economically disadvantaged students in Brazil.
May HongMay is the Director of Scratch and is a rising high school senior who is passionate about computer science and economics. May has been coding since 8th grade, and has worked as a teacher’s assistant for KTByte Computer Science and as a curriculum developer: utilizing HTML, XML, JSON, and Java Processing.

Eddy Zhao
Eddy is a director of the New England branch and a rising junior at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. Outside of C4K, he is a member of a FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team. His hobbies are astronomy and science, and he is excited to share coding with C4K students this year!
Emma ChenEmma (she/her) is the director of the New England branch. She is a rising senior at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School and has been learning about computer science since 7th grade. Emma has participated in multiple coding competitions and is interested in researching Machine Learning. Through previous volunteering experiences, Emma has become passionate about teaching young children, and she is very excited to help out at Coding4Kids this summer!
Isha AgarwalIsha (she/her/hers) is the Director of Python and is a rising senior at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. She took her first python programming class in 7th grade and has loved computer science since then. Recently, she has taken an interest in using machine learning to explore research questions in cryptography. Isha has also participated in various math competitions (including MathCounts, AMC, and AIME) and has taught kids math in the past. Isha is passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion in STEM and can’t wait to work with Coding4Kids this summer!

Portia LiPortia (she/her) is a rising senior at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. She has experience teaching kids in both math and writing, and is excited to do the same at Coding4Kids this summer! When she is not teaching, Portia loves to explore various cuisines in the Boston area.
Lauren DetmoldLauren is a rising senior at The Newman School who has been interested in computer science since 5th grade. She has experience teaching middle and elementary schoolers at summer camps in python as well as other topics. She is passionate about math, computer science and physics and is excited to get more kids interested in cs.
Nitya SankarapalliHi guys! My name is Nitya and I’m a rising junior at Acton Boxboro Regional High School. My interests are coding, biking, reading, and playing tennis! I am super excited to meet all of you and help you learn Scratch!
Tanish Ghosh
Tanish is a Java instructor at C4K and a rising junior at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. He first started coding with Scratch and later with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for websites. Now, he loves to use Java for autonomous robot programming. Outside of coding, he loves playing board games with his friends and family. This fall, he is super excited to teach kids what he has learned at Coding4Kids!

Emma XiangEmma (she/her) is a rising senior at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. She is interested in Python and hopes to share this interest with younger students. Outside of coding, she enjoys baking for Portia
Pranav AkshathPranav is a rising junior at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. He has volunteered last year and this year with kids, and has helped teach them many things, ranging from coding to baking. He’s excited to help more kids in Coding4Kids.
Haruki OharaHaruki is a rising senior at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. He first started using python programming in 8th grade, followed by other languages such as HTML. He also has experience teaching students math and Japanese and hopes to utilize those skills to help out at Coding4kids this summer.
Lakshika Kamalaganesh
Lakshika is a rising junior at Acton Boxborough Regional High School. She has been learning about computer science since 6th grade. She has experience with Java and Python and is excited to work with Coding4Kids.
